Janice Griffin Gallery, rated the “Best Gallery” in an arts district outside of New York City by USA Today is about to celebrate its 10 - year anniversary in Portland, Oregon’s famous Pearl District.    The art gallery is 5,000 square feet, half of which is Janice’s studio.    The Oregonian Newspaper stated that “Janice Griffin is gaining renown as one of the best American abstract expressionist painters”.    Janice paints both abstract and female figurative works in an expressionistic style comparable to the visionary American Modernists and painters of the New York School of the 1940s.
